Fact sheet: Japan!

This post will be on some random facts about Japan and its culture! Hope you learn something new .

1. Japanese flower arrangement is called ikebana. It emphasizes harmony in a simple, elegant form.


2. Kimonos are traditional clothes that women wear. Kimonos differ to the age of a female. Tabis and getas are often wore with a kimono.


3.Manga is kind of like a japanese comic book, but i consider it more like a type of art(?) in a comic book format.


4. Anime is basicly a form of japanese animation.
(this is one of my favorite animes called kamichama karin. Kazune x Karin!)

5.Some japanese holidays that are my favorite are White Day(when boys give chocolates to girls ; it is the other way around for valentines day), Star festival/Tanabata(where you celebrate the 2 stars, Altair and Vega, being able to meet since they were seperated by the milkyway),Seven-Five-Three/Shichigosan(when you celebrate girls that turn three and seven, and boys that turn three and five), and Otsukimi (where you eat fall/autumn foods, odango, and susuki while looking at the moon).
